KatrinaConnection.com is a registered Louisiana non-profit public service initiative, created by and for survivors (former evacuees) of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and now Hurricanes Gustav and Ike, as a non-partisan, community, news, current affairs and networking website.
The site is intended to show the struggles, strength, determination, and resilency of all those affected by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Objectives include being informative and connecting survivors of hurricanes Katrina or Rita and their aftermath with each other and offering a more ideal, sensitive, and personalized means of resourceful post-Katrina information.

others related to Katrina or Rita areas.
We intend to be informative, yet entertaining. Straightforward, but maybe
off-the-wall. Vital, yet exciting & vibrant. To be a constant companion for anyone
whose life was changed forever by the storms, offering items of interest, articles of
depth, & updates on life in the Big Easy and other affected areas. You are
